About me

Welcome to my website!

I am Nadia Eliseyeva, a registered counsellor specialising in providing professional counselling services to individuals, couples, families and organisations dealing with relationship issues. My primary goal is to create a safe and trusting space where you can freely explore your concerns.

Through our sessions, I will gently guide you in delving into your inner world and the dynamics of your relationships with others. Together, we will identify the root cause of your issues and work collaboratively to develop a new and effective approach.

My counselling approach can be described as client-centred, evidenced-based, interpersonal, psychodynamic and trauma-informed with a strong systemic orientation model.

Feel free to explore my website and learn more about my services. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a session, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Individual Therapy

I offer flexible therapy options to meet your needs. If you're seeking short-term resolution, we can focus on your specific issue in 6 to 12 sessions. For deeper attachment and relationship issues, long-term psychodynamic therapy spanning 18 to 36 months is available.

Couple Therapy

In my work with couples, I primarily utilise a systemic approach, supplemented by interventions from Emotion-Focused Therapy and Gottman's method.

The systemic approach views the difficulties within a couple's relationship as "between people" rather than "within people.

Organisational Counselling

The systemic approach is highly regarded in professional contexts, offering valuable insights and strategies for teams facing staff turnover, conflict, and performance issues.

I help teams harness the power of this approach for growth and positive change.

Individual Therapy

Short-term therapy

For individuals who are looking to resolve a specific issue within a shorter timeframe, I provide short-term therapy consisting of 6 to 12 sessions. This approach is designed to focus on the specific challenge at hand and work towards finding effective solutions. Together, we will identify the root causes of the issue, develop strategies for coping, and create positive changes in your life.

Long-term therapy

For those seeking to address deeper attachment-related and relationship issues, I offer long-term psychodynamic therapy. This approach involves a more in-depth exploration of your past experiences, relationships, and patterns of behaviour. By examining these underlying factors, we can gain a comprehensive understanding of your struggles and work towards resolving them at a profound level. Long-term therapy typically spans 18 to 36 months, allowing for a thorough and transformative therapeutic journey.

Regardless of the duration of therapy, my goal remains the same: to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions, thoughts, and relationships. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I will work closely with you to establish a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and respect.

Couple & Family Therapy

In my work with couples, I primarily utilise the systemic approach, supplemented by interventions from Emotion-Focused Therapy and Gottman's method.

The systemic approach views the difficulties within a couple's relationship as "between people" rather than "within people." As a systemic counsellor, my role is to focus on the relationship itself rather than individual needs. Instead of solely addressing individual issues, I explore patterns of your interactions and how you relate to one another and then, facilitate change in your interactions.

When working with couples, I adopt a more active approach compared to individual counselling. With couples experiencing conflict, I actively intervene to help break negative patterns and guide them towards more effective and constructive ways of relating to each other. While I don't take sides, I am a proponent of your marriage or relationship, advocating for its success.

I strive to help couples develop healthier patterns of interaction, improve communication, and build stronger emotional connections. Together, we will work towards fostering a more fulfilling and resilient relationship.

Organisational Counselling

In today's world, the systemic approach is highly regarded and valued not only in personal contexts but also in the professional sphere. It offers valuable insights and strategies for teams that experience high staff turnover, regular conflict, and performance issues. As a systemic counsellor, I am here to help you leverage the power of this approach to promote growth and positive change.

I begin by conducting a comprehensive and holistic assessment of your team. This assessment takes into account crucial factors such as industry context, company culture, values, organisational structure, and internal and external processes affecting your team. By understanding the intricate dynamics at play, we can identify areas of strength and areas that require attention.

Based on this assessment, I will develop a tailored action plan designed to help your team transform dynamics and achieve desired goals. This plan may encompass various elements, including the development and delivery of training programs, the enhancement of your appraisal system, face-to-face counselling and addressing talent management issues. By focusing on these crucial areas, we can facilitate sustainable and positive change within your organisation.

I am committed to providing the most effective, cost-efficient, and sustainable solutions that align with your company's unique needs.
